Looked at the web stats. You're loving this post, but no comments yet. Aw! Come on! Be brave, and speak with authority. :)
This is great! far to many people are fearful of speaking up they just sit there worried about rocking the boat. Sometimes you just have to say what you believe in a loud and proud voice. The main thing is if you don't sound convinced of your own argument nobody will listen, be brave give it a go you may just surprise yourself.Great blog's Rebecca really helpful thank's.
Thanks Chris. Really happy you like the blog.
Rebecca, you have introduced me to a great poet! I loved this one and have been listening to his many other performances on YouTube throughout the day.Regarding this poem, it is tragic that students are afraid to speak with the intelligence that they have for fear of being thought of as a geek or a nerd. If a student utters a word longer than 6 letters, they feel the need to say, "I don't know where that came from!" And friends will joke about it.Adults will also avoid speaking with conviction or authority because of political correctness. We are all prone to this fear of what others might think of us if we speak our minds. And we are all the worse off for it.
This. Man. Is. Amazing. Thankyou so much for sharing this Rebecca :)
I appreciate your comments. :)
