Real World Stuff: Please Pray for My Dad †

Just for a moment, I need to go off-topic. My father recently had a life-saving operation. His recovery was going well, then this morning I received a call to say he'd been rushed into the operating theatre for an emergency operation.

If you are in any way religious, a prayer would be very welcome right now. If you are not, but would like to send positive thoughts or leave a comment, I'll pass those on to him when he is conscious.

Thank you.

  5. Thank you SO much for your prayers. His tenacity and courage is so inspiring. He even had a procedure without anaesthetic! He came through the operation. He went in for another op this morning, came through it and immediately called me to ask me to thank all my online friends for their support. Thank you.

It will still take some time before he is 'out of the woods' so please keep praying.

  7. Just saw your post regarding your Dad's surgery. I hope he is doing well and fully on the road to recovery. Whenever I have a problem that seems too much for my limited abilities I put it in the hands of the Supreme Consciousness that constitutes the Universe. Everything is predetermined and we cannot make it change even by an iota. Treat every day as a gift and use it with love. You will automatically feel healed. Best wishes.
